Shape the future of primary care in the Central Okanagan. Our committees and working groups are where physician members drive local solutions, advocate for the profession, and directly influence the programs and priorities of the Division.
Division Committees
These groups guide the internal work and strategic direction of the Division.

1. Climate Action Committee
Focuses on environmental sustainability and climate resilience in healthcare, through practice change and advocacy.
2. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee
Develops and promotes relevant learning opportunities and events for physician members.
3. Governance Committee
Oversees the Division’s governance policies, board effectiveness, and strategic planning processes.
4. Finance Committee
Provides fiscal oversight and guides the financial strategy of the Division.
Primary Care Network (PCN) Committees
These are key partnership committees with Interior Health and community partners. A strong physician presence is essential to shape PCN priorities and programs.

1. PCN Steering Committee
Guides the overall strategy and priorities of the Central Okanagan Primary Care Network.
2. Cultural Safety Working Group
[Physician Members Needed]
Works to advance culturally safe practices and policies within the PCN and local practices to better serve Indigenous and diverse communities.
3. Team-Based Care Advisory Group
[Physician Members Needed]
Focuses on the development, implementation, and optimization of team-based care models in the Central Okanagan.
