Drs Davidson and Thomson are actively seeking a new associate to take over permanently at the KMC.

The KMC currently provides comprehensive, office based, longitudinal family practice care to the people of Kelowna and surrounds. Dr Davidson also provides care to opioid dependent individuals. We do not do obstetrics and we have associate hospital privileges which means our patients are taken care of by our hospitalist program when admitted to hospital. This is a well-established, well known and respected family practice with a robust patient base. We are available for after-hours call via telephone between 1-2 weeks per year as we are part of a large call group.

This offer would be ideal for a relatively new MD who is comfortable and qualified to deal with the full spectrum of medical, surgical, paediatric, gynaecological and psychiatric cases typical of a full service family practice. This MD would value working hard while at work but with significant opportunity for recreational pursuits when not working. Drs Davidson and Thomson are active and involved in a variety of activities including: mountain biking, trail running, rock climbing, cross country skiing and back country skiing.

The usual work week is 3 half days and one full day which means a long week-end every weekend. The MD’s at the KMC strive to work hard and play hard while providing top notch care to the people of the Central Okanagan.
